Water Situation of Yimeng Fish
Mengshan Mountain is high, Yishui River is long. In the red land of Yimeng, many touching stories have emerged. The party members, cadres and troops who came here, together with the people of Yimeng, have written a chapter of the era of deep love between fish and water.
Dongxinzhuang Village, Mamuchi Township, Yinan County, Shandong Province, which is located in the hinterland of Mengshan Mountain, is known as a "military Jedi" because it is surrounded by water on three sides and has only one way out. "Yimeng mother" Wang Zhuanyu's home is here.
Although the three yellow grass roofed farmhouses have just been renovated this year, they still look old, and the roof beams can be felt with one hand. The villagers said that more than 80 years ago, this was one of the best houses in the village.
Wang Huanyu, born in 1888, married in Dongxinzhuang at the age of 19. After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan, she, who was advanced in thought and capable in handling affairs, was gradually trained by the local party organization as an anti Japanese activist and served as the party's information liaison.
In 1938, under the instructions of the CPC Central Committee of "sending troops to Shandong" and the establishment of Yimeng Base Area, the anti Japanese activities in Yimeng Mountain Area developed to a new stage. In November of that year, Wang Huanyu, 50, joined the CPC.
"Because of the patriarchal ideology at that time, Grandma was called Yu Wang. She didn't have her own name, so she had a hard time filling in the form." Yu Aimei, Wang Huanyu's granddaughter, said that a cadre asked her grandmother about her experience and said, "You are the daughter-in-law who bought two buckets of millet at home. Why not call Wang Huanyu?".
In the summer of 1939, the enemy came to Yimeng Mountain to "mop up". Xu Qian and Zhu Rui, heads of the CPC Shandong Branch and the First Column of the Eighth Route Army, moved to Dongxinzhuang Village and put the "Shuai Zhang" in Wang's house. Since then, the First and Fifth Divisions of the Eighth Route Army, the Shandong Column, the Provincial War Trade Union (the predecessor of the provincial government) and other organizations have lived at Wang Huanyu's home, and other leaders of the Shandong party, government and army, Luo Ronghuan, Xiao Hua, Guo Hongtao, have also lived at her home.
The head office of the Shandong Anti Japanese War came, and the children of the soldiers came along. "At that time, the anti Japanese troops often marched in haste, and there was no way to take care of children. So Aishan Township set up a wartime nursery to take care of children collectively." Yu Aimei said.
The sons and daughters of the first group of 27 anti Japanese soldiers were all properly settled under Zhang Luo of Wang Changyu, and Wang Changyu raised two of them in his own family. At that time, the oldest of them was only five or six years old, and the youngest was only three days old.
Wang Changyu took good care of every child in the wartime nursery. Under the influence and drive of her mother-in-law, the two daughter-in-law Zhang Shuzhen and Chen Hongliang also took care of these revolutionary descendants.
There are 42 children at most. Eating is a big problem. "My mother-in-law told me that some of these children are descendants of martyrs, so let our children eat coarse food at home and give them milk to drink. Our children can be reborn when they are gone, but we can't let martyrs break their roots!" Zhang Shuzhen's memories before her death.
In the war years, except for the children's food, clothing, housing and transportation, the safety issue is the most important. From 1941 to 1942, when the enemy came to "mop up" several times, Wang Changyu took his children to hide in the cave. Once, he lived in the cave for more than two months.
During the three years from the autumn of 1939 to the end of 1942, more than 40 children in wartime nurseries grew up healthily. After 1943, another 45 children of revolutionary soldiers were raised by Wang Changyu. Later, these children were picked up in succession and left in 1948 at the latest. Wang's four grandchildren died of malnutrition and poor care. She and her sons and daughter-in-law exchanged their great sacrifices for the safety of revolutionary descendants.
In 1947, Cai Chang, the pioneer of the Chinese women's movement, made a special report on Wang Huanyu's deeds on behalf of Chinese women at the First World Women's Congress. Wang Changyu's name became famous at home and abroad, and was called "Yimeng Mother". Zhang Shuzhen and others have also become the representatives of "Yimeng Hongsao". Their stories of sending their children to join the army, sending their husbands to the front, sacrificing their lives to save the wounded, and sparing no effort to bring up the revolutionary descendants are always worthy of praise.
Yinan County has set up a special Yimeng Hongsao Memorial Hall. Since the Party history education was carried out, Party members, cadres and the masses from all over the country have often come to study. Jin Jing, the deputy curator, told reporters that there were more heroes and heroines born in Yimeng, a red land. According to statistics, during the revolutionary war, the 4.2 million people in Yimeng base area had more than 1.2 million people supporting the army, more than 210000 joined the army and more than 100000 martyrs died bravely, making great sacrifices for the independence and liberation of the nation.
If we win the trust and support of the people, the Party will be able to overcome any difficulties and be invincible.
Today's Dongxinzhuang is clean and beautiful, which is not the old look of the past. The village has developed a 300 mu yellow peach planting base, and projects such as poverty alleviation workshops and greenhouses and vegetable greenhouses are operating well. "In 2020, the collective income of our village will exceed 100000 yuan, and the per capita annual income will be above the average level of the whole township." Du Zhongxin, secretary of the Party branch of Dongxinzhuang Village, said.
Until now, the red tradition here has not changed. There are more than 280 families in the village. Every family has enlisted in the army. Villagers say that young people should go to the military camp to exercise. The war nurseries in those days have long been replaced by Red Army primary schools. According to the person in charge of the school, the purpose of the school is to carry forward the spirit of Yimeng and strive to be a red successor.
